What are the shading systems made out of?

Our shading systems are made out polycarbonte panels which are 250 times stronger than glass and 20 times stronger than PVC. Our panels are fire resistance and contain a UV protection film which can block harmful UV rays. The frames are made of aluminum and are corrosion resistant.  They are secured by stainless steel bolts. 

How do I clean/maintain the product?

Our products are extremely low maintenance and cost efficient.  Most of the time the wind and rain will clean the debris off of your shading system, however, if you want to give your shading system a deep clean we recommend using the following products and steps:

  1. First rinse the polycarbonate panels to clear any debris (make sure the surface is completely clear of sticks, leaves, etc. to prevent scratches).

  2. Wash polycarbonate panels with a mild soap (we recommend Palmolive or Joy liquid soap) and water. Please note that there are polycarbonate cleaners out there but we have found that liquid soap works the best and is the most cost-efficient method.

  3. Use a soft cloth (we recommend a microfiber cloth) or sponge and gently wash in an up and down motion (*not in a circular motion or side to side).

  4. Rinse the cloth or sponge and change the water often. DO NOT SCRUB or use brushes or squeegees.

  5. Repeat rinse and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spotting.

Why should I choose an aluminum product?

 Wood patio are  beautiful; however, wood covers take more effort, time, and money to maintain.  Wood coverings will need to be painted every year and eventually the rain, moisture, sunshine and salt water will deteriorate the wood covering.  Termites often play a major role of the deterioration of the wood coverings.

Aluminum shading systems are known to last longer than wood shading systems. They require no to little maintenance, as mentioned above, the best way to clean our systems are dish soap and water. The system is corrosion resistant, hurricane proof, and fire resistant. 

How much does it cost?

Our specialists will be able to give you an estimate when they visit your home or business.  Our shading systems save homeowners and business owners thousands of dollars. For example, building a new garage can cost a homeowner between $9,000 and $45,000, with an average cost of roughly $20,000 to $30,000. Our shading systems can be a great alternative to a costlier, more ambitious garage.

Can I customize the shading system?

Yes!  That is one of the great things about our products.  You change the dimensions and colors to fit your home or business. You are able to create the product to your liking.  The minimum recommended dimensions for a two-car garage is 20 x 20 which will have enough space for two vehicles. Our product size can range from small window coverings to carports for large boats.
